We look forward to welcoming you to our brewery bar
BREWERY FRESH BEERS, TASTY FOOD, GREAT COMPANY
Overlooking the working brewery, our bar is a relaxing space to drink, eat and unwind. We pour at least 10 of our brewery fresh craft beers alongside wines, spirits, ciders and softs, with a focus on local producers through our Sussex Six commitment.
Weekends bring the buzz, with rotating street food, live music, and monthly events. There’s plenty of seating available, so there's no need to book.
Notice to families: Under 18's are welcome until 7:30pm, after which the brewery is open to over 18s only. As we are both a working industrial site and a licensed premises, children must sit with a parent or responsible adult at all times. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Frequently asked questions
We have a variety of street food vans which join us every Friday and Saturday evening from 5- 8:30pm (one van per evening). The offering varies from freshly made wood fired pizzas and burgers, to steak, tacos, vietnamese, nepalese and more. Please check our calendar (found further up this page) for our full line up. Please contact the food vendors for allergen information.
We have live music every Saturday evening from 6:30pm- 8:15pm (unless otherwise stated on our calendar and socials).
Events run on Thursday evenings, and range from Bring Your Own Vinyl night and Open Mic Night to ticketed events such as Comedy, Wreath Making, etc. More info can be found on our events page.
Children under 18 are welcome until 7:30pm, after which the brewery is adults only. As we are both a working industrial site and a licensed premises, children must sit with a parent or responsible adult at all times. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
We’re afraid we don’t take table bookings now. There are generally plenty of tables available in the brewery, particularly if your party arrives before 6pm. We’ll also happily help you move chairs and benches around to accommodate you, or request others share a table with you, if that’s necessary. Just ask our Bar Ambassadors if you need any assistance and they will be happy to help. We look forward to seeing you in our fun brewery!
In our attempt to keep Firebird as a consistent, always open space for our community, we do not reserve tables for parties or offer private hire. Our bar can get very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, so we cannot guarantee that space will be available but, as a general rule, there are usually plenty of free tables before 6pm.
As Firebird is an industrial site with constant production we cannot allow balloons or streamers in the building as these can create unpredictable hazards. We also ask parties to tidy up any extraneous mess from cake or opening presents.
If you are interested in having a celebration at Firebird, do let us know how many people you are expecting so we can ensure we have adequate bar staff for the evening.
