Curious to know what goes on at Firebird, and what it takes to bring our beers to life?
Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at life as a brewer at Firebird Brewery. Our tour offers a lighthearted dive into the history and science of brewing, as well as the full brewing journey from the malt & hops, to the final product.
Included in your tour, you’ll receive:
- Welcome ½ pint of your choice
- Guided walk around the brewhouse, fermentation area and packaging area.
- A chance to get up close with some hop and malt samples
- Beer card - 6 ½ pint vouchers
- Guided tasting of 3 Firebird beers in our taproom
- Free gift to take home
- 10% off shop purchases on the day
Tour Bookings:
- Tours run twice a month on a Saturday between 3:00-4:30pm
- Tickets can be purchased online or in-store.

Maximum 20ppl per tour
Undated tour vouchers: To use the voucher, ask the recipient to email the brewery to book their tour date (subject to availability). They'll need to provide the Shopify order number included in your order confirmation email. Please note, a separate tour voucher will not be issued- the Shopify order number is all that's required. T&C's:
- Over 18’s only - Valid ID is required for the Challenge 25 policy
- Vouchers are redeemable for 1 year from purchase
- Appropriate footwear and clothing is required. No open-toe or flip-flop style shoes or high heelsWe recommend flat shoes, boots, or trainers
- Avoid flowing garments.
- The brewery can get quite cold during the winter months, so we would recommend layers.
- Please note that the tour requires walking and the use of stairs. We will try to accommodate any mobility issues, but please let us know in advance in case any adaptations need to be made.
- Drunk and disorderly behaviour is not permitted.
- Arrive at least 15 mins before start time. - The brewery tour will start on time, and therefore may not be able to wait for you.
- Tours can be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance.
- Do not touch, interfere or remove anything unless you have been given permission by the tour guide. The machinery may be hot, move unexpectedly, or you may interfere with the brewing process.
- No eating, smoking or vaping on the tour.
- 10% off in the shop is only applicable to Firebird products.
- Tour vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are subject to availability.

- Tours run two Saturday's per month, starting at 3pm and running until 4:30pm (you can stay after the tour for as long as you want).
- The bar will be open from 11.00am for early starters and closes at 10pm for late finishers!
- Food is available from the Milk Churn Cafe next door until 3.30pm, and from our Street Food Vendors from 5pm.

Unfortunately not, however, as long as they are accompanied by an over 18 at all times, they are welcome to wait in our brewery bar.

Firebird is now largely solar powered. We brew with UK-sourced malt, reuse heat from fermentation to warm the building, and send all of our spent grain to feed local cattle.
